Iowa : Administration

Iowa is ranked 30th among the 50 states of U.S. and is located in the Midwestern region of United States. Iowa was the 29th state added to the United States Union in 1846. The constitution of Iowa gives three branches in state government: executive, legislative and judicial. The executive branch consists of Governor of Iowa and other statewide elected officers Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer of State, Auditor of State and Secretary of Agriculture. The legislative branch consists of two U.S.  Senators and five U.S. Congressmen for every district. The Code of Iowa contains the Statuary Laws of the State of Iowa. It is periodically updated by the Iowa Legislative Service Bureau.

Department of Public Health: The Department of Public Health aims at collaborating with state health agencies, physicians and hospitals in order to protect and preserve the health of the people by providing medical assistance against diseases, prevention against epidemics and hazards and other health related aspects.

Department of Transportation: The Department of Transportation is responsible for development and maintenance of roads, rails, highways and other means of transportation in order to ensure easy and safe movement of people, goods and information.
